Program Overview

The Minor in Multi-Disciplinary Design introduces students to the core principles of product design across physical, digital, and platform-based experiences. Through a thoughtfully curated curriculum, the minor draws from four key educational pillars: Studio, Technical, History/Theory, and Practice. This program provides students from diverse majors the opportunity to explore design thinking and creative problem-solving, equipping them with tools to engage effectively in today’s dynamic professional landscape. Emphasizing ethical conduct and social responsibility, the minor fosters a holistic understanding of how design influences and shapes the human experience.

Minor Requirements

  • 122 credits in total, a minimum 75 credits in the program
  • General Education and Bachelor degree course requirements
  • Students must complete an approved internship to graduate
